On the road again... That time to Bakersfield , by foggie
CA-99 eventually reaches the interchange with CA-152 as the concrete pavement becomes asphalt. A few months earlier I went straight on CA-99 north of CA-152, but I didn't take pictures since I didn't have the front seat. There is a very unusual railroad crossing when the northbound lanes span under the railroad while the southbound lanes span over the railroad. See the link below for more info. Taken on Sep 5 2011.
