What can you see by the way?
Wasco in the summer. Old Drug Store of Mr. McKee just North of Bakery on corner with Grocery Store in between and next to the Hardware Store. These buildings once had stamped metal ceilings. circa 1940s. Thanks for the info Mr. Root., by Mike McDonald
It would be ashame to scrape this building and put in Town Houses. The long unused General Merchandise Store diagnally across street from "Wasco Post Office". circa 1940s. Thanks Bill Root for the info. More info, this is the W.M.Barnett Store built in 1898. W.M. Barnett was an early settler of Wasco. This was his second store in Wasco, which included a car dealership. Mr. Barnett was also a banker. His Daughter Marie Barnett Cooper became Oregon's first woman bank president, across the street, by Mike McDonald
