CA-180 travels thru the large stack interchange with CA-41, which was built in 1982 & expanded in the late 1990s. The ramp from CA-180 eastbound to CA-41 north was almost demolished due to lack of funding to build the CA-180 freeway as well as community opposition, since building this freeway resulted in demolishing several historic buildings.
